WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users and are held in selected cities across the globe, where novices as well as experts come together to share ideas and gain knowledge from each other.

WordCamp Mumbai will see some of the country’s most sought-after experts coming together on one dais to share their best practices and provide expert advice.

The registrations are open for the event and more can be learned about it by visiting Registration Page

The event will run two parallel tracks, one for users and one for developers. The user track is for marketers, content writers, casual bloggers and novices. This track would discuss how blogs can be used as powerful tools, while not delving much into the technology aspect of WordPress. Some of the topics, the user track would cover are: “Scaling up your blogging business from 1$ to 10 million”, “Powering Brands through WordPress”, “Google, You and WordPress” etc. The developer track, on the other hand, will be more focussed towards the technology and development. This is the session for advanced users, coders, web designers, technology entrepreneurs, web developers, programmers and technology students. Some of the topics being covered in this track would be:  “Scaling up your WordPress on the Cloud”, “Theme development’ and “Android app development for your Blog” etc.

With Expert Speakers from multi-industry and multi-sectors, WordCamp Mumbai will be a rich and enlightening experience, with intellectual takeaways such as learning to build a website from scratch, best practices of monetizing and earning profits from the blogs.
